Missing Illinois teen Kyleigh Parker found safe in Ohio

ZEIGLER, Ill., (KBSI) — Kyleigh Parker, a missing juvenile, has been located in Massillon, Ohio, thanks to a collaborative effort between multiple law enforcement agencies.

Parker was found by the Perry Township Police Department after she made contact with a relative, who then notified the Zeigler Police Department. Authorities quickly initiated a device “ping” that led to the identification of a suspect in her disappearance.

Real-time location information was relayed from the relative to the Zeigler Police Department, then to the FBI, and finally to the Perry Township Police Department, which located the vehicle Parker and the suspect were in.

The Zeigler Police Department expressed gratitude for the assistance of Central Dispatch of West Franklin County, the FBI, the Illinois State Police, and the Perry Township Police Department.
