Missing Missouri man found alive in national forest

WAYNESVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities in Pulaski County say a missing man, Benjamin Eason, has been found alive.

Eason, 41, was discovered by volunteer searchers Tuesday morning in a wooded area of the national forest off Highway J, between Phelps and Pulaski counties.

Pulaski County Sheriff Jimmy Ball thanked the searchers, including those with four-wheelers, horse teams and search dogs, for their assistance.

Eason had been missing since Monday, prompting a search effort that involved local authorities and volunteers.

Details of Eason’s condition were not immediately available.
