Missing woman last seen in Carbondale found in nearby community

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – A woman who was reported missing on March 31 was found in a nearby community in good health on April 3.

The City of Carbondale Police Department asked for the public’s assistance in locating Belinda Wicks, 60, of Herrin, Ill. She had been last seen on March 29 in the 400 block of West Jackson Street in Carbondale.

She was reported missing on March 31.

Police say they appreciate the community’s assistance in the case.
