JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Missouri State Capitol will be illuminated in blue this weekend to honor law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty, Gov. Mike Kehoe said.
Kehoe said the lighting recognizes officers who “paid the ultimate price” while protecting Missouri residents.
The governor also emphasized the courage and commitment required of law enforcement and said the state will continue to honor the legacy of fallen officers and support their families.
