Missouri gas prices drop to $2.84 per gallon
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Missouri’s statewide gas price average has dropped to $2.84 per gallon for regular unleaded fuel, according to AAA Missouri’s Weekend Gas Watch.
The price is 2 cents lower than last week and 29 cents lower than the same time last year.
Columbia drivers are paying the most, at $2.96 per gallon, while Springfield drivers are paying the least, at $2.69.
The national average price is $3.15 per gallon.
AAA reports that gasoline demand decreased and domestic supply increased, contributing to the price drop.
