Missouri Gov. Parson visits Bollinger County after tornado

MARBLE HILL, Mo. (KBSI) – Missouri Governor Mike Parson arrived in Bollinger County by helicopter Wednesday afternoon and toured the area affected by that morning’s tornado.

He held a press conference at Woodland High School where he expressed his optimism about how this community will recover.

“In small town Missouri, you’ll find out that everybody will start coming together at a very early time to help one another,” he said. “There’s a lot of work to be done. Right now, it’s about the families, it’s about the loved ones, it’s about picking up the pieces.”

The latest reports are that five people were killed and five were injured during the storm.
