Missouri Public Service Commission sets deadline for input on Ameren solar project

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Missouri Public Service Commission has set a July 7 deadline for parties to intervene in a case involving Ameren Missouri’s request to offer retail service to a solar farm in New Madrid County.

Ameren Missouri filed a motion with the commission on June 27, seeking expedited review and asking for an order by Aug. 1.

The commission is accepting applications for intervention and comments from interested parties.

To intervene, applications must be filed by July 7 with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission or through the commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System.

Citizens wishing to comment can contact the Office of the Public Counsel or the Public Service Commission Staff.
