Missouri Sen. Jamie Burger attends Memorial Day events across southeast Missouri

SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) — Jamie Burger spent Memorial Day weekend attending events across southeast Missouri honoring veterans and fallen service members.

Burger said Friday’s events began in Bollinger County before attending the Walk to the River event in Cape Girardeau on Saturday.

On Sunday, Burger visited the Madison County Courthouse in Fredericktown and later attended an event at Veterans Park in Sikeston.

Burger thanked veterans for their service, sacrifice and dedication to the country.
