Missouri State Fair announces Junior Lamb Carcass Champions
SEDALIA, Mo., (KBSI) — Callen Fosnow of Jamestown has been named the Grand Champion Junior Lamb Carcass exhibitor at the Missouri State Fair.
Fosnow, a member of the Eager Eagles 4-H Club, is the son of Daniel and Emily Fosnow.
Joshua Bax of Maryville was named the Reserve Grand Champion Junior Lamb Carcass exhibitor. Bax is a member of the NE Bluejays 4-H Club and is the son of Matt and Sara Bax.
Both Fosnow and Bax will sell their lamb carcasses at the Missouri State Fair Best of Missouri Awards and Sale on Aug. 16. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the winning exhibitors and the Missouri State Fair Youth in Agriculture Scholarship Program.
The sale will take place at 11:15 a.m. in the Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall, following the Best of Missouri Awards ceremony at 10:30 a.m. The event will be broadcast live on KMMO radio online and on the Missouri Department of Agriculture Facebook’s page.
