Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Bruce Fiske to retire after 30 years

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Bruce D. Fiske, commanding officer of Troop G in Willow Springs, will retire May 1 after 30 years of service, officials announced.
Superintendent Col. Michael A. Turner said Fiske joined the patrol in 1996 as part of the 71st Recruit Class and was first assigned to Troop G, serving Howell and Shannon counties.
Fiske was promoted to corporal in 2001 and later to sergeant in 2003, serving as a zone supervisor.
He was promoted to lieutenant in 2008 and assigned to Troop I Headquarters in Rolla before being promoted to captain in 2019 and taking command of Troop G.
Fiske is a native of Summersville and graduated from Summersville High School. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 270.
He and his wife, Sharon, have three children.
