JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KBSI) — The Missouri State Highway Patrol is recognizing the troopers and personnel who helped support security operations during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

In a social media post Wednesday, the patrol shared photos highlighting the long hours, special assignments and behind-the-scenes work completed by its personnel throughout the tournament.

The patrol said many of the efforts that helped ensure public safety during the event occurred out of the spotlight but were essential to the operation’s success.

“Now that our mission is complete, we’re proud to share a glimpse of the people who made it happen,” the agency said.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted with security and public safety efforts as Kansas City hosted several FIFA World Cup matches and related events.
