Missouri State Highway Patrol invites public to take part in opinion survey

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Every three years, the Missouri State Highway Patrol sends a survey to residents of Missouri to get feedback on how the department is doing and what they can improve on.

Sgt. Clark Parrott says the public’s opinions are important for the department’s development.

“And we solicit feedback on how our troopers do their job the quality of the product that we give the citizens of Missouri from our crash investigations to criminal investigations to things like that,” said Sgt. Parrott.

A link to the survey can be found on their website and social media pages.

It’s a chance for people to share their happiness with the department, and for others to express their concerns, so that the department can make changes if needed.

“Sometimes feedback it can be hurtful or you know it’s not always positive but again if we can learn from it then we’re going to do everything we can so that’s why we encourage people you know the public to fill out the public service survey,” said Sgt. Parrott.

The department encourages the public to take advantage of this opportunity and give helpful feedback.

“But we truly want to know what people think of their Missouri State Highway patrol,” said Sgt. Parrott.

The survey continues until August 31. If you are interested in this survey visit 2022 Missouri State Highway Patrol Public Opinion Survey (surveymonkey.com)
