CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) — The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued a Blue Alert for a man authorities say has made credible threats against law enforcement.
The suspect is identified as 43-year-old Joshua Ellis Foeste of Cape Girardeau. Officials said Foeste is considered armed with a handgun and should be approached with caution.
Authorities said the alert was issued after Foeste allegedly made threats April 23 to use a firearm against law enforcement. The threats followed a reported domestic assault incident the previous day.
Foeste was last known to be on foot after leaving the area of South Sprigg Street in Cape Girardeau.
He is described as a white male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 243 pounds, with a bald head and possibly a goatee.
Officials urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911 or contact local law enforcement.
