Missouri State Highway Patrol releases current number of service calls on the roadways and more

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol released an updated statement on the road conditions.

The Missouri State Highways Patrol tell the public that the “winter storms continue to storms continue to severely impact Missouri roads.”

This come from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Facebook page saying,

The winter storm continues to severely impact Missouri roads.
To those who have avoided unnecessary travel so far, we appreciate you – Fewer vehicles mean fewer crashes and safer conditions for everyone, including us, Missouri Department of Transportation crews, and all of our emergency partners.”
The Missouri State Highway Patrol also released their current numbers of service calls and more, listing.
Since Storm Onset – All Troops Reporting:
▪️1374 Calls for Service
▪️597 Stranded Motorists
▪️285 Crashes
▪️27 Injuries
▪️0 Fatalities

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is happy to report that there have been zero fatalities, but continue to ask that drivers stay off the roadways.
