Missouri State Highway Patrol urges drivers to delay travel during winter storm

MISSOURI (KBSI) — Missouri State Highway Patrol shared images from troopers’ body-worn cameras during the weekend winter storm, highlighting hazardous road conditions across the state.

The patrol said troopers—who live and work in the communities they serve—are coordinating with the Missouri Department of Transportation, towing companies and other service providers to clear roadways and respond to emergencies.

Officials said road conditions are expected to improve but urged motorists to delay travel, when possible, to allow crews and first responders to work safely.
