MISSOURI(KBSI) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol is urging citizens to be safe while black Friday shopping.

As black Friday shoppers get an early start to shopping and parking lots become crowded the Missouri State Highway Patrol is telling citizens to stay alert and be safe, so you don’t become a victim.

• Lock Your Car – Don’t leave valuables in plain sight and always lock your car.
• Stay Alert – Be aware of your surroundings and watch for any suspicious behavior.
