Missouri Task Force 1 deploys to Texas for search mission

SAN ANTONIO, Tx., (KBSI) — Missouri Task Force 1, a 50-member team, arrived in Texas late Monday and has been assigned to conduct primary searches in Kerr County.

The team, deployed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, completed check-in procedures Tuesday morning and will begin searching a designated area this afternoon.

Using specialized tools, including search cameras, seismic listening devices and Human Remains Detection canines, the team will methodically examine structures, vehicles and debris piles to ensure no individuals are missed.
