Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial to host POW/MIA candlelight vigil

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial will host a candlelight vigil Friday, Sept. 18, in recognition of POW/MIA Recognition Day.

The vigil will begin at 6:30 p.m. at America’s Wall. It will honor prisoners of war and service members who remain missing in action from all wars.

The Welcome Center and Military Museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m.

Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial is located at 1172 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Perryville.
