Mock active shooting training to take place at Advance Public Schools

ADVANCE, Mo. (KBSI) – The Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a mock active shooter training at Advance Public Schools on Friday, August 16.

Several law enforcement and first responder groups will be there for the training.

The Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office, Advance Police Department, Advance Fire Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dexter Police Department, Stoddard County EMS and Advance Public Schools will be involved in the training.

Sheriff’s deputies say this is only a training and not an actual incident at Advance schools.
