More than 150 FFA members help prepare for SEMO District Fair

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) — More than 150 FFA members and advisers volunteered Wednesday to help prepare the grounds for the SEMO District Fair.

Students representing FFA chapters across southeast Missouri participated in the fair’s Community Service Day. Volunteers painted, landscaped, set up livestock pens, cleaned and moved equipment.

Fair organizers thanked the students for contributing their time and effort ahead of the annual event.

The SEMO District Fair begins Saturday, Sept. 12, and continues through Saturday, Sept. 19, at Arena Park in Cape Girardeau.
