Motorcycle driver injured after crash with car in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – A motorcycle driver was injured in a crash with a car on Wednesday, March 22 in Carbondale.

Carbondale police responded to the scene in the 600 block of North Giant City Road at 3:44 p.m.

Officers found the driver of the motorcycle suffered injuries and immediately began life saving measures, according to the Carbondale Police Department.

The motorcycle driver was taken by ambulance to the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

No other injuries were reported.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is active and ongoing.
