Mountain Dew Park to become 12-hole golf course for Thrillville Tee-Off

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — Baseball and golf will collide at Mountain Dew Park this fall during the inaugural Thrillville Tee-Off.

The ballpark will be transformed into a 12-hole stadium golf course from Oct. 1-11. The event, presented by House2Home Realty, will allow participants to play from unusual locations throughout the home of the Thrillville Thrillbillies.

The course will feature six wedge challenges, three chipping holes and three putting holes. Players will hit shots from locations including the top of a dugout, beyond the outfield fence and inside the Thrillbillies clubhouse.

Challenges will include the Home Run Hole, Dugout Derby, Chip, Sip and Sink and Clubhouse Classic.

The event is designed for golfers of all experience levels, according to organizers.

Several holes will offer hole-in-one prizes, including a $100 ThrillHouse Play Card, a holiday party in TJ’s Diamond Club and a Thirsty Thursday Mini-Game Package for the Thrillbillies’ 2027 season.

The three players with the best overall scores during the 10-day event will each receive a free 18-hole round of golf with a cart at Kokopelli Golf Club in Marion.

Tee-time registration will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23. Prices begin at $35 per person, with weekday, weekend, foursome and private-duo options available.

Food and drinks will be available at Line Drive Bar & Grill Powered by 618 Taphouse and inside TJ’s Diamond Club.
