Mt. Vernon City Council to review recreation center plans at special meeting

MOUNT VERNON, Ill., (KBSI) — City of Mt. Vernon Illinois will hold a special City Council meeting Monday to discuss plans for an indoor recreation center.

The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. April 13 in the City Hall Council Chambers at 1100 Main St.

Officials said council members will review design options and pricing before selecting a final design for the project.

The meeting will be held in person and will not be livestreamed. The agenda is available on the city’s website.
