Multiple crews battle fire in Cairo
CAIRO, Ill. (KBSI) – Multiple crews battle fire in Cairo Plant.
According to fire personnel Cairo Fire Department, Mounds Fire Department and multiple other fire departments arrived on scene after a fire broke out at Bunge in Cairo, Ill.
The fire reportedly broke out on a conveyor belt in a grain bin elevator.
It’s unknown at this time what started the fire.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
The fire is under investigation.
We reached out to a representative of Bunge who says they have no comment at this time.
