Multiple garages damaged in Benton fire; no injuries reported

BENTON, Ill., (KBSI) — Fire crews responded to a fire involving multiple garages Wednesday morning in the 1100 block of Grayson Street, according to the Benton Fire Department.

Benton Engine 801, Engine 803, Truck 805 and Chief 820 responded to the scene, along with units from the West Frankfort and West City fire departments.

Additional assistance was provided by AMR, Benton police and city water and street departments.

Officials said no injuries were reported.
