Murphysboro man charged with murder of another Murphysboro man

JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – A Murphysboro man is charged with first degree murder charges for the death of another Murphysboro man.

Nathan E. Randall, 18, of Murphysboro is charged with two counts of first degree murder in the June 16, 2023 death of 19-year-old Phillip Hindman.

If convicted, Randall faces 20-60 years behind bars in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Randall was taken to the Jackson County Jail with a bond of $1 million.

H is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on July 17.
