Murray man accused of driving drunk, assaulting police officer

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Murray man faces assault of a police officer and alcohol charges after sheriff’s deputies say he drove drunk.
Tim M. Graham, 62, of Murray faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 1st degree (aggravated circumstances) and assault 3rd degree – police officer (Class D felony).
Calloway County sheriff’s deputies were called around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 in reference to a possible intoxicated person driving a vehicle on Red Bud Road.
Graham wsa found, arrested and brought to the Calloway County Detention Center.
While at the jail, deputies say Graham would not comply with deputy’s instructions and began a fight.
No medical attention was needed for either person.
