Murray man arrested after traffic stop on Hwy 641

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — A traffic stop on Highway 641 North on March 27, 2025, led to the arrest of a Murray man.
James R. Hornbuckle, 54, was taken into custody after a deputy pulled him over around 2 p.m.
According to authorities, Hornbuckle’s driver’s license was suspended due to a previous DUI conviction.
During the stop, Hornbuckle allegedly attempted to swallow a pill in an effort to conceal it.
Hornbuckle was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility and faces charges including:
— Tampering with physical evidence, a Class D felony
— Driving on a DUI-suspended license, first offense
— Various traffic offenses
