Murray man arrested, charged with first-degree sodomy

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Thomas Varneke, 42, of Murray, was arrested and charged with first-degree sodomy following an investigation into a reported sexual assault.

Varneke was taken into custody on Feb. 6 and lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

The Murray Police Department reminds that individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
