Murray man arrested on felony drug trafficking charges

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Michael W. Dowdy, 50, of Murray, was arrested Thursday, Feb. 21, 2025, on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies assisted Probation and Parole officers during a home visit, where they discovered illicit drugs and other items consistent with trafficking.
Dowdy was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center on charges of:
— Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree
— Possession of methamphetamine, 2nd offense, less than 2 grams (Class C felony)
— Possession of drug paraphernalia
