Murray man arrested on multiple charges, including meth trafficking

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Calloway County deputies arrested a man on multiple charges after responding to a business on Highway 94 East on March 27.

Tab H. Johnson, 28, of Murray, was taken into custody around 5:30 a.m. after deputies found him to be intoxicated and discovered active arrest warrants.

A search of Johnson’s person revealed 2.7 grams of methamphetamine, pills and $3,000 in cash. He also possessed a stolen handgun, and a background check showed a previous felony conviction.

Johnson was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility and faces charges including:

— Trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree
— Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon
— Receiving stolen property
— Possession of drug paraphernalia
— Public intoxicication
— Failure to appear
