Murray man arrested on rape, custodial interference charges

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Murray Police Department has arrested a local man following an investigation into a reported sexual assault.

Dustin Owen, 39, of Murray, was charged with one count of third-degree rape and one count of custodial interference, according to police.

The department thanked the Kentucky State Police and Murray State University Police for their assistance in the investigation.

Police reminded the public that all individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
