Murray man charged with first-degree sexual abuse

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Chase J. Byerly, 33, of Murray, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12.

The Murray Police Department conducted an investigation after receiving a report of a sexual assault, leading to Byerly’s arrest. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

Byerly is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
