Murray man dies in crash involving motorcycle, vehicle

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Murray man died in a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle in Calloway County Sunday afternoon.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, Calloway County Fire/Rescue and Murray Calloway County EMS were contacted via 911 around 4:30 p.m. on July 21 to respond to the crash happened on State Route 121 North near the Potts Road intersection.
James P. Davis, 39, of Murray was taken to the Murray Calloway County Emergency Room for treatment, but died from his injuries upon arrival, according to deputies from the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
Davis was traveling eastbound on Hwy. 121 N and believed to have left his lane traveling into the oncoming lane on a motorcycle.
He crashed with a Ford Escort.
There were no other injuries caused from the crash.
