Murray man facing drug charges after meth found

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Murray man faces drug charges after sheriff’s deputies served an arrest warrant.
Christopher M. Garland, 41, of Murray faces charges of trafficking controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense greater of equal to 2 grams-methamphetamine (Class C felony), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On March 12, 2024, at approximately 10:30am
Deputies tried to serve an arrest warrant on O’Bryan Circle in Murray around 10:30 a.m. on March 12.
While at the home they came in contact with Christopher M. Garland who was found to be in possession of over 16 grams of methamphetamine that was packaged in small plastic baggies consistent with trafficking of the drug, according to Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies.
He was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
