Murray man facing drug charges after traffic stop

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Murray man faces drug charges after a traffic stop.
Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Murray around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 20.
Gabriel Ward, 42, was in possession of methamphetamine and other controlled substances, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
He faces charges of no registration plates no registration receipt, possession of controlled substance – 1st degree, 1st offense (meth), possesion of controlled substance 2nd degree (drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ward was taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
