Murray man facing weapons charge after visit by Probation and Parole

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Murray man faces a weapons charge.

Michael Orand, 55, of Murray faces a charge of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon (Class D felony).

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies assisted Calloway County Probation and Parole on a home visit on Hwy. 94E around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 5.

Orand is a convicted felon and was found to be in possession of a firearm, according to sheriff’s deputies.

He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
