MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Murray State University has announced the launch of a new strategic planning process that will guide the institution’s priorities over the next three years.
University officials said the plan will serve as a roadmap focused on strengthening student experience, academic innovation, financial sustainability and community engagement.
President Ron K. Patterson said the effort is designed to align resources and establish clear goals for the university’s future.
A strategic planning committee made up of campus and community members will lead the process. The committee will be co-chaired by faculty members representing multiple academic areas.
Officials said the strategic plan will also align with a campus master plan that will guide future development of the university’s physical campus.
