Murray State to celebrate renovated recreation and wellness center

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Murray State University will celebrate renovations to the Susan E. Bauernfeind Recreation and Wellness Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, Aug. 17.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the center, located at 1000 Racer Drive.

Improvements include new fitness equipment, renovated locker rooms, pool upgrades, enhanced interior branding and infrastructure improvements.

The celebration will also include a brief program, guided facility tours, equipment demonstrations and refreshments provided by Racer Dining by Sodexo.

Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend.
