Murray woman arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Calloway County sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on North 4th Street early Thursday, leading to the discovery of illicit drugs and the arrest of the driver.

Deputies stopped the vehicle around 1 a.m. and were assisted by the Murray Police Department and K9 Bonnie.

The K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics, and a subsequent search uncovered a box containing illegal drugs.

Deborah A. Duncan, 54, of Murray, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Calloway County Detention Center.

Duncan faces charges including possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a Class D felony; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and traffic offenses.
