MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) — A Murray woman out on bond in a Graves County drug case was arrested late Saturday after deputies said she was found in possession of methamphetamine.

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office said deputies located 42-year-old Carrie A. Runyon on Higgins Drive around 11 p.m. Aug. 30. Runyon had an active arrest warrant out of Graves County, and deputies discovered she was carrying illegal drugs during the arrest.

She was booked into the Calloway County Detention Center on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On the Graves County warrant, she also faces charges of tampering with physical evidence, first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

Runyon had previously been indicted in June on drug-related charges in Graves County and was free on bond at the time of her arrest.
