Murray woman facing assault of police officer, menacing charges

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Murray woman faces assault of a police officer and other charges.

Annamarie Turner, 31, of Murray faces charges of assault 3rd degree-police officer (Class D felony), resisting arrest and menacing.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Lancaster Road around 8:30 p.m. on June 16.

Deputies say Turner was acting in an erratic manor.

While deputies tried to arrest her, they say she headbutted a deputy.

She was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
