Music fans encouraged to plan ahead for benefit concert for Mayfield
MAYFIELD, Ky. (KBSI) – Mayfield area country music fans who plan to attend the Trace Adkins Concert for Mayfield on Saturday, May 20 are asked to plan ahead for parking.
Drivers should be prepared to encounter heavy event traffic along KY 121-Business/Paris Road, the KY 121/Dick Castleman Bypass, and other routes into and through Mayfield before and immediately after the concert.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has message boards to assist with traffic information.
Parking is available at the Graves County Fairgrounds and Graves County High School with shuttle bus service available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. before the concert. After the concert, shuttle bus service from CFSB War Memorial Stadium to the fairgrounds and Graves County High School will be available for one hour after the concert ends.
Drivers are encouraged to make plans to park in an appropriate parking area. There there will be no parking along highway right of way near the concert site. Vehicles parked on state right of way or blocking roadways will be towed, according KYTC.
