Mystic Market of SEMO raises over $3,000 for Street Level Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The semi-annual Mystic Market of SEMO made its way to the Shawnee Park Center on Saturday.

Attendees visited dozens of vendors, readers, and healers, and all for a great cause. The $5 entry fees will go to Street Level Cape Girardeau, providing winter funds to help with shelter and food for the homeless.

The market’s host Susan Abney said it is a privilege to get to help Street Level.

“Street Level is probably one of my favorite organizations to work with,” she said. “It really means a lot to work with them and to be able to get the money because we know there is a homeless problem here.”

Abney said Saturday’s event raised $3,205 for Street Level.
