Narcotics investigation leads to fentanyl find

SCOTT CITY, Mo (KBSI) – A total of 75 grams of fentanyl was found in a Scott City residence.

On July 6, 2023, Scott City police department was under a narcotics investigation which led them to a residence on James Street in Scott City.

Officers were able to get a search warrant and conduct a search of the residence.

Approximately 75 grams of Fentanyl was seized from the residence.

Three suspects were taken into custody for drug related offenses.

The suspects were identified as:

Timothy Kraft (59) charged with 1 count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine and Fentanyl), 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

George Plaskie (55) charged with 1 count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1 count of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia
Mechell Anders (65) charged with 1 count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine and Fentanyl), 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
There is no bond at this time for any of the suspects.
