Nashville, TN man charged with sexual assault against minor in Jackson County, IL

JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – A man from Nashville, Tennessee faces criminal sexual assault against a minor charges in Jackson County, Illinois.

Nikko D. Glasper, 31, of Nashville, Tennessee, was arrested on two counts of criminal sexual assault against a minor, both Class 1 felonies.

In April 2022, Carterville Police Department investigated an alleged sexual abuse of a minor.

Carterville police with the assistance of the Carbondale Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office found evidence that supported the allegation. The investigation was turned over to both the Williamson County and Jackson County States’ Attorneys’ Offices.

On March 5, Nashville, Tennessee police arrested Glasper in Nashville following the issuance of a Williamson County, Illinois warrant.

Glasper was taken to the Williamson County Jail and was served with a Jackson County, Illinois warrant on March 18.

Glasper is scheduled to appear in front of a Williamson County judge for a pretrial hearing on June 3.

He will appear in before a Jackson County judge for a case management conference on October 25 .
