National Cold War Center appoints Jamie Wright to Board of Directors

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark., (KBSI) — The National Cold War Center has announced the addition of Jamie Wright, co-founder and executive director of The Alliance for Rural Impact, to its board of directors.

Wright brings over 25 years of experience serving northeast Arkansas, including her work as former Deputy Director of the East Arkansas Planning and Development District.

“I’m honored to join the NCWC board and contribute to a project that will preserve history while serving as a catalyst for local engagement, education and economic development,” Wright said.

The National Cold War Center, a federally designated museum, is being developed on the campus of the former Blytheville Air Force Base. The museum, set to open in late 2027, will serve as the United States’ official museum of the Cold War.
