National Night Out held at Arena Park in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Cape Girardeau police and FOX23 held National Night Out in Cape Girardeau Tuesday, August 6.

National Night Out is the first Tuesday in August. It is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Many police departments all over the country participate in National Night Out.

Cape Girardeau police and neighboring departments joined for a fun night with the community at Arena Park.

There were food trucks, games, a petting zoo, pony rides and more.
