New director of public relations and events named for Old Town Cape Inc.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Claire Masterson has been named director of public relations and events for an organization serving downtown Cape Girardeau.
In her new role, Masterson will promote downtown and help organize events that bring the community together throughout the year.

“Downtown Cape holds some of my favorite memories over the years. I’m so excited to now have the opportunity to preserve the traditions I’ve grown up enjoying and celebrate the people and businesses that make downtown so special!” Masterson said in the announcement.

Community members can meet Masterson at the Farm to Table event Oct. 11, which will celebrate local food and the community.
