New family Nurse Practitioner joins Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo., (KBSI) – Chasidy Darnell, FNP-C, has joined the medical staff of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center as a family nurse practitioner with Regional Physician Services Gastroenterology.

Darnell brings extensive experience in various nursing fields, including pediatrics, medical-surgical units, community health, family practice, wound care, and women’s health. She is committed to providing patient-centered care with shared decision-making and evidence-based medicine.

Darnell will provide care to patients with gastrointestinal and liver disease, treating acute GI illnesses, diagnosing and managing chronic GI and liver diseases, and referring patients for screening and diagnostic endoscopy procedures. She is accepting new patients and will maintain office hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Darnell graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University. She lives with her husband and two children and enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, and gardening.
